Don Macauley has been a huge fan of Alta and its fabulous skiing since 1979 and has enjoyed many ski seasons working for Alta Ski Lifts as a mtn. host/guide and the Rustler Lodge where Don works mornings as a barrista. The rest of the year, Don & Heather Macauley live on the island of Maui in the town of Kula, 3,900 ft. above sea level, with their daughter, Amelia. Heather writes at home, and Don paints mainly with watercolors. Don's original paintings are in private collections in the U.S., Europe & Australia.
